This privacy policy covers the Luna Chrome extension, the Windows, Mac, and iPhone apps, and this website (lunainterview.xyz). Last updated 23 September 2026. Luna is operated by Frank Masciopinto. Privacy questions: lunainterview.concierge@gmail.com.

Who we are

Luna suggests a spoken reply or pasteable code during interviews. You do not paste an OpenAI key. Luna’s server holds the key used for transcription and suggested answers. That usage is included in the 24-hour trial and in a paid license. If you give us an email on trial start, license activate, or checkout, Luna stores it so we can show your plan and usage in the operator admin.

What data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run Luna. We do not collect health data, location, browsing history, or a list of sites you visit.

Interview audio and transcripts

While Listen is on in the Windows, Mac, or iPhone app, Luna captures audio you allow (system audio on Windows or Mac, or the microphone on iPhone). The Chrome extension does not listen. That audio is sent to Luna’s server, which sends it to OpenAI to transcribe. Stop listening and that stops. We do not keep a library of your recordings on Luna’s servers after the request finishes.

Visible page or window text

In the Chrome extension, press Start and Luna reads the active tab’s title, address, and visible text for the next suggestion. Stop ends that. On Windows and Mac, Watch this window can include the foreground window title. On iPhone, Luna cannot read other apps. The Chrome panel does not capture audio; a bar in the panel links to the Windows and Mac apps if you need listening.

Settings and license on your device

Persona, CV, notes, Auto / On ask, Ignore my voice, trial start time, license plan, license key, the current suggestion, and saved call history are kept on your computer or phone. Every Luna app requires an account. Sign in with email and password, or with Google. Luna’s server stores a password hash only when you set a password, plus your trial start and license, and syncs jobs, briefs, preferences, and history so Chrome, Windows, Mac, and iPhone show the same data. To enforce one device per app, each app creates a random device ID on install; the server stores that ID and the app type (Chrome, Windows, Mac, or iPhone) while you are signed in, and deletes it when you sign out. When you press Stop, Luna stores that call’s recap — and, in Chrome, the exercise type and answers — so you can reopen it from History. This marketing site does not receive those settings except through that signed-in sync. If the Chrome extension is installed, this site can ask how much trial time is left and can send a license key you paste on the Buy page so the extension can unlock.

Email, plan, and interview metadata

When you enter an email to start a trial, activate a key, check out, or create an account, Luna stores that email, your plan (trial, annual, or lifetime), license issue/activate events, interview metadata (platform, start/end, turn and suggestion counts, optional tab title), and usage counts (tokens/bytes) for transcription and suggestions. We do not keep a library of interview audio. If you are signed in, the synced history can include transcripts and exercise answers so your other devices can show them.

Payments

Card checkout is hosted by Stripe on the Buy page. After Stripe confirms payment, Luna’s server issues a license key, shows it on the Buy page, and records the payment against the email Stripe or you provided. Stripe may collect payment details and an email address as part of checkout. Luna does not store your card number.

If you pay with crypto (ETH, USDT on Ethereum, or SOL), Luna stores your email, the quoted amount, and the transaction ID you submit. Luna looks that transaction up on the public blockchain through an Ethereum or Solana node provider, and reads the current ETH and SOL price from CoinGecko to quote the amount. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent; Luna cannot delete them.

This website

The marketing site is static pages plus checkout and license APIs. It uses Google Analytics 4 (gtag) to measure page views on lunainterview.xyz. Google may set cookies or similar storage for that measurement. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell analytics data. If you open Stripe Checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies on Stripe’s site. The Chrome extension and native apps do not load this analytics tag.

How data is stored

Brief, settings, trial clock, license key, and suggestions: on your device. Signed in, jobs, briefs, preferences, license, and history also sync to Luna’s server.
Email, password hash when you use a password, device IDs for signed-in apps, plan, license events, interview metadata, and usage counts: on Luna’s server. Continue with Google sends a Google sign-in token to Luna’s server so it can confirm the email; the token is not stored.
Audio and suggestion prompts: sent to Luna’s server for that request, then to OpenAI. The Chrome extension does not send audio. Luna does not keep a recording library. Signed-in history can include transcripts and exercise answers.
Paid license keys: created on Luna’s server after Stripe marks the session paid, then shown to you to store on the device.

How data is used

Transcribe interview audio and suggest the next line or pasteable code.
Include the page you are watching after you press Start in Chrome, or when you turn on Watch this window in the desktop apps.
Start the 24-hour trial and unlock Listen after you activate a license key on this computer.
Take payment and issue a key when you buy on the Buy page.
Measure visits to this marketing website with Google Analytics 4.
If you open a page with ?ref=, store a first-party cookie named luna_ref for 30 days and a visitor id named luna_vid so a later account can be credited to that affiliate. The Chrome extension may copy that code into its local storage and send it only when you create an account.

We do not sell your data. We do not use interview audio, transcripts, or page text for advertising, profiling, or credit decisions. We do not use them to train Luna’s own models.

Third-party services

Luna uses these processors to run the product:

OpenAI — transcription and suggested answers, using Luna’s server key. See OpenAI’s privacy policy.
Stripe — card checkout on the Buy page. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Google Analytics — page-view measurement on this website only. See Google’s privacy policy.

Hosting for this website and the APIs may run on our cloud provider. They process requests as needed to serve the site. We do not share interview audio with advertisers.

Data sharing

We share data with OpenAI, Stripe, and Google Analytics only as described above, and if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with other third parties for their marketing.

Data retention and deletion

Audio and suggestion requests are processed to answer you, not kept as a recording library. If you are signed out, license keys and briefs stay on your device until you remove them. If you are signed in, Luna’s server keeps the synced jobs, briefs, preferences, license, and history until you ask us to delete the account.

To delete Luna’s data:

Chrome: remove the Luna extension, or clear the extension’s site data in Chrome settings.
Windows, Mac, or iPhone: uninstall the app, or use Clear in the panel to wipe the brief on that device.
Synced account: email lunainterview.concierge@gmail.com and ask us to delete the account. That removes the password hash, if there is one, and the synced copy.

Uninstalling stops Listen and Watch this tab. It does not automatically refund a purchase. For a paid-key question, email lunainterview.concierge@gmail.com.

User controls

Listen is off until you press it in the Windows, Mac, or iPhone app. Stop listening and audio stops leaving the device. The Chrome extension does not listen.
In Chrome, nothing on the tab is read until you press Start. Stop ends the session and saves the exercise recap.
Ignore my voice limits transcription to the other side of the call where the app supports it.
You can edit or clear persona, CV, and notes in the panel.

Children

Luna is for adults preparing for job interviews. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

International processing

OpenAI and Stripe may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate. If you use Luna from the EU or UK, that processing is to provide the service you requested.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change posted here is acceptance of the new policy.
